Social Media Marketing: My Audience

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

There are 7.9 billion people on the planet earth, and targeting the right audiences for your brand is one of the crucial tasks. Targeteting the right audience with the help of social media marketing is such a relief to all problems. Thanks to the Facebook ads manager for providing multiple options to target the right people for your business. With the help of an ads manager, you can select your preferred audiences based on their age, interests, demographics, gender, etc.

For selecting the right people for your business you need to identify the needs, characteristics, and motivation of a business’s ideal needs to shape the audience interested in your business. For instance, if your company designs ladies' bags then your audience must be female, working, salary more than 100k, etc. These characteristics help in shaping and targeting the right audience.

Facebook Ads Manager provides three categories for defining the audience based on preferences.

1- Core Audiences

2- Custom Audiences

3- Lookalike Audiences

Core Audiences:

Define your audience based on interests, demographics, age, gender, etc. The core Audience can be as broad as you define. You can select people based on different characteristics and the ads manager will show your ads to only those selected people and will eliminate the remaining population.

Custom Audiences:

Help you connect with that audience who showed some interest in your business in the past, like downloading your application, subscribing newsletter, or visiting the website. You can create a custom audience with your source information. You can collect this information with the help of Facebook pixels or forms used by website visitors while subscribing newsletter.

Lookalike Audiences:

Facilitate your reaching to new people who have the same characteristics as your existing customers. Lookalike Audiences are a great way to target those who are most likely to respond to your ads.

For any business, it is essential to clearly define the audience. If you are aware of your audience and able to target the right audience on social media marketing platforms you can easily add great numbers to your customers’ list.

Always remember that: Business is all about Customers.
