In the last article, I explained social media marketing and the wonders that are possible. In this piece, I will walk you through how you catch the attention of buyers to your products and services.

Facebook provides a platform for businesses to connect with people all around the world. You can create a business page for your business from your account. On your business page, you can upload about your business, services, or products you have to offer in different ways. ALL of this is FREE OF CHARGE.


You are not paying for anything yet. Without paying anything, you can send your message to people and people can communicate with you. The audience that comes to your page without spending a penny is known as organic reach. Though that’s not enough in the initial stages when you don’t have enough followers.


Here comes the idea of advertising on Facebook to increase reach. There are two ways to advertise from your page. You can boost your post, or create an ad using promote the feature.

To manage ad campaigns Facebook provides an ads manager.


Ads Manager: Ads Manager a platform where you can find all features that you need to create, manage, and track ads. Every Facebook account has an Ads Manager. You simply just need to add details related to currency, time zone, spend limit, and form of payment to set up your account.


Dos and Don’ts of creating Ads:  Facebook reviews the ad before making it available to the public that your ad adheres to Facebook policies. For instance, you cannot promote smoking, upload nude pics, pictures that expose body parts, alcohol, etc. If your ads are not as per the policy of Facebook, they will be rejected.


Facebook Pixel and Conversions API: Facebook pixels are a small code that can you add to your website to keep the track of audience visiting your website. The data collected through Facebook Pixel helps in targeting potential customers based on their interests. 


The Conversions API gives advertisers the ability to connect and share their customer data to target, optimize and measure Facebook ad campaigns. Businesses should adopt the Conversions API in addition to the pixel. This helps maximize performance for campaign targeting, optimization, and measurement on Facebook.


This means the Facebook Ads manager helps in catching the attention of a large number of customers, can help in targeting customized audiences, can help in tracking the result of ads, setting success metrics, and optimizing ads and content based on data collected through Facebook Pixels and Conversions API.
